Kamakura, Japan: Pide「ピデ」Micro Sourdough Bakery

This is more of a special shoutout to our inspiring friends who recently opened their sweet and cosy bakery, Pide. Having opened just 3 weeks ago, it already has a long queue since day one. People can’t seem to have enough of their craft – I’m craving the cardamom and cinnamon buns right now myself!

I remember last year we were walking through Kamakura, catching up with Aziz and Burcu (owners) and talking about Pide and their stories leading up to securing the place and renovating it…to now being a really busy bakery, selling out each time.

This year, we decided to surprise them and just turning up to show our support 🥰 It’s so amazing to see that they’re pursuing what truly makes them happy!
